New pioneer unit has really bad signal.
I just replaced the factory head unit with a pioneer. Everything works perfect...except for the radio. I'm not getting a signal at all from any of the channels. I read a few posts on my350z and it seems like i have to connect the antenna power amplifier (blue wire with white stripe) to the harness. I haven't opened everything back up so i just want to clarify which wire this is. Is it the blue/white wire coming out of the headunit or is it a blue/white wire on the factory wiring. If its the wire on the factory wiring, which wire do I use on the pioneer harness?

The blue/white wire you're talking about is on the car side of the harness.
Which Pioneer unit did you install? Did it have a wire on its harness for 'power antenna'? That would be the wire you connect to the blue/white wire. If you don't have a dedicated power antenna output, you can always use the remote turn on wire (usually used to turn on amps, but it will also turn on the antenna booster, which is what you're trying to do).

Ok sweet! I got the DEH-p6100BT. I'm pretty sure i remember seeing a wire for power antenna. Do you think I'll need to cut and solder the wire on the car side? Or will I be able to just solder the pioneer harness wire for power antenna to one of the wires on the aftermarket harness (without cutting any wires on the car side). I'll have to open everything back up to figure it out. I just wanted to get an idea of what i have to do before i do it.

There should be a wire for you to connect on the harness without cutting any wires in the car.
According to the installation manual for that model, you will be looking for a blue/white wire coming out of the Pioneer harness (see attached pic). Connect this blue/white wire to the blue/white wire on the car side of the harness and your radio reception should sound just fine.
