Not happy with new sound setup - HELP!!!

I'd recommend having a good car audio shop tune it for you. A professional will do a much better job and they probably won't charge you much at all.
Or if you're friends are such audiophiles, ask them to help tune it.

Splurt...
you have the 9815 which you can configure on-line and burn the settings to a disk and then load them to your deck.
On mine, the 9813, I have to set everything on my deck.
I don't have the stock speakers, I have 2 sets of Infinity Kappas.
They way I have my deck tuned is as follows:
For the time correction (mind you that I'm 5'7", so the settings may be differerent for you), note, this also adjusts the bass focus:
FL: 1.1
FR: 0.0
RL: 2.3
RR: 1.2
Then, I have the cross over set at 40Hz cutt-off, 0dB level, and 2 (which is-12dB/oct) Slope.
I have not played around with the parametric EQ yet. Just been using the default settings, Rock, Pop, etc.
Hope that helps.

Installed my 9815 and Kappa 60.5cs components in the front last night. Left the stock garbage in the rear for fill.
IMO a 40-50hz with a slope is too low for a 6.5" door speaker. I don't know about the coaxials, but the frequency response for my components is listed in the manual at 45Hz+ I played around with the settings and found that cutting it off at 100Hz with a -18db/oct slope (3) sounds best. Of course there's quite a low to mid-bass response that's missing, but i'll fill that with the basslink that arrives monday. These infinity speakers seem like they would satisfy a better mid bass response if they were in somewhat of an enclosure. These doors have too many holes in them.
Right now it sounds great at max volume levels of 25-28.
