quick sub question..!

Default quick sub question..!

just wanted to know if i can run a sub and amp from my stock headunit? i just want a lil more base thats all..not trying to set off car alarms or nothing..ha thanx

i wana put a 10" sub in my car u no just a lil extra noise nothing too serious. do you know what a reasonable amount to spend on this would be? without install..

have to get an amp that supports "line in". Tap into speakers and goes staight in to amp and speaker frequency levels. Many decent ones do now a days.

Or.. you could get a line in converter, but most are crappy quality. Line convertor is you splice into speaker, line convertor changes speaker frequency to RCA level frequencys then run RCA's (RED WHITE) to amp.

but it is so much more worth it to upgrade head unit and speakers... and you may not get a good Low Pass crossover with the speaker level line in also

yes you can...I did my audio setup....after my pain in the *** experience, I'll say this proper tools, and a extra pair of hands will get any job done...
