Default Z-PC - Xenarc touchscreen question

I am having problems with the Xenarc touchscreen when I'm at 800X600 res. The display shifts to the right about half the physical screen. The mouse pointer still maintains the regular coordinates. That means I have to tap the screen with the stylus and guess where to point on the blank part of the screen to hit any of the icons etc.
The screen is absolutely perfect when I switch to 1024X768. But everything is so small on the screen it's a problem even with the stylus.
This problem appears intermittently. I tried to unplug the monitor connection from the back of the PC, and reconnected it. The screen flickers then comes on displaying fine, and then it seems to switch mode and the display shifts to the right with 800X600 displayed on the top left corner of the screen (which disappears after a few seconds).
I have hooked up the PC to my home monitor, and it works just fine in all resolutions. Anyone else have this problem with the Xenarc?
Any help is appreciated.

Would suggest you dl the VIA display drivers. seems like a driver problem more than the screen (since it works fine on your home pc)

I've had that exact same problem. I thought it was a software problem, too, but it wasn't. For some weird reason, the horizontal setting on the xenarc goes to 0. It should be set to around 50, but it goes off to 0 for some unknown reason. So, just play with the xenarc buttons to reset your horizontal alignment. That's all.

YES!! I had to take off the plastic plate that sits at the bottom of the compartment to get to the buttons. But I set the Horizontal to 50 and that fixed it. Hopefully it won't revert back to 0 on it's own. Thanks Zakira!!

Sure, you're welcome, Shagz. But what gets me is, it only started happening AFTER I got my touchscreen kit installed. I don't remember it ever happening b4 that.

So, does anyone know what causes xenarc w/ touchscreen to
(re)set its own settings? Maybe it doesn't like to be pushed around??

try upgrading your drivers. I know that the touchscreen has a newer version of their driver on Xenarc's site.
