Hi All,

So I bought a Pioneer F90BT to replace the base head unit in my 06 Z.

I knew something was up when I started removing the center console and there were no screws holding it in place...

Initially I thought the previous owner had been in a hurry to replace the stock head unit - I was pissed but it didn't look as if there was any harm done. Once I got the center console removed I found that the stock head unit was missing the support brackets which should be screwed to each side to fix it to the front inside face of the center console. The only thing holding the stocker in place was two crude home made L-brackets. How it has stayed in place for so long I don't know.

Anyway - my question is - does anyone know if I can buy replacement support brackets from a dealership or are they an integral part of the stock head unit?

I'd recommend posting a "want-to-buy" (WTB) in the classified ads. That's how I picked up a pair of them. (Probably got your old ones )

i've purchased them before. they are about $40 from the dealer if i remember correctly.

Couldn't find them in an online catalog so went to the local dealership this morning - Yep $40. Each!!!

Can't wait for a WTB to come through as I'm driving around without my center console...
