Default JVC KW-NX7000 built-in photos??

Does someone have the JVC KW NX7000 in his Z ?
I'm looking for some pictures in a Z

What is the best place to built the HU in?
I was thinking in the cover above in the dash..

Why is everyone building a HU in the lowerpart of the dash?

Thanks!

Just do what you are "thinking" and show some pictures when done.

Your post is a bit hard to decipher... As far as I can tell you are asking about mounting the head unit in the navigation cubby hole. The reason most people don't do this is probably because they: A.Have factory navigation so the opening is not available or B. It is much easier to mount a head unit in the spot where it is intended to be mounted and still leaves the cubby hole above the radio available for storage. I have the JVC KW-AVX820 in my Z and IMHO it looks great mounted in the place of the factory radio and sounds 100 times better

But you are right ms350z.. that was my question..

Is the navigation cubby hole easy to use for a double din headunit?
Is this hole not TO large for a double din???

I'm not sure if the cubby hole is deep enough to mount a standard double din unit and there are no provisions to directly bolt a standard system into this area. In other words, it will require some customizing to do this, so it wouldn't be worth it unless you REALLY want to mount your HU in this spot.
