Default ...

Are you actually using the Pioneer cable or are you using the charge/sync cable that came with the iPhone?

Default Yeah I have the same problem

I've used an authentic pioneer cable, a different Ipod, and my bypass is done correctly. The only thing I haven't tried was use a "purchased" video from Itunes. But that really shouldn't make a difference because it plays on the ipod.

sorry for reviving such an old topic.

i recently installed the same HU with the Pioneer Car CDIU200V installed. i also did the relay bypass so i would not have to flip a switch to watch movies while the vehicle is in motion. please no lectures, im not gonna actually watch movies and drive. i honestly did it for the gucciness.

i had the same issue as the op. i found the fix on another site and thought i would revive this topic for anyone else that has the issue and searches to find this topic as i did.

::: SOLUTION :::
assuming all wires are connected properly (a good way to test is put in a normal dvd movie and see if you can watch it with video and sound.) turn the unit off. then open the av menu and select initial menu and set AUX 1 to IPOD. then select the ipod source and set the background to nonE or off.
