AVIC-D3 NAVI problems! Telling me im in LA!??!
For all you guys with the AVIC-D3:
Ok, this problem started by upon starting my Z one day, message pops up in grey boxes:
"Please insert the proper disc"
So i insert West coast disc, and then message says:
"Checking disc"
Then it says:
"Please eject disc and reinsert the proper disc"
For some reason it wont read the disc, and its not scratched because the east coast disc when inserted says same thing, it wont read it.
Then when i go to 'Navi Menu', then 'system settings', then 'Hardware Info', then the current signal info option thing, it says message:
"Hardware problem, please contact your local ...."
almost everything in list from antenna connection, speed pulse, to power supply in list says:
"NOK"
and under the "Positioner" it says: "Excessive Vibration"
But my antenna runs up through the roof panel out the top of the back hatch then onto my roof. When i open the hatch leaving the above menu with connection status stuff up, all of the sudden the antenna signal and everything else returns to normal for some reason, but navi still tells me im in LA. Then when i close hatch antenna and everything else shuts off again and says: "NOK"
PLEASE HELP ALL YOU AVIC-D3 guys!!!!!
