Default How do i put 3 10" subs in my 350z!?!

okay, so i kept my previous stereo system out of my rsx-s. I have three 10" alpine type-r's to put into my 350z.. does anyone know how i can do it =S i dont think theres enough room under the rear strut bar section.
I was thinking of taking out my compartment box behind my driver seat and make a custom box in there and put one in there?
Has anyone seen anything that could help me, or know from experience. And yes.. i do want all 3 in there.. i love my music, and i love it loud.

am I the only one that finds that obnoxious? I have one 10" alpine type-r and I hardly turn it up and my car rumbles good, good enough to be obnoxious to people outside of my car if I wanted to.

whats the fascination with being ghetto

Well, there are people that would also find your "one 10" alpine type-r" obnoxious and think all you need is stock. It is a matter of choice and taste so just mine your own business.

How is that being ghetto? did you ever think that people listen to their music loud all the time? Personally I always have my radio cranked up to the max, and I threw in 3 10s and I still hear the music, but now I have bass to keep up with it.

OP go to wickedcas.com and give them a call

Putting 3 type rs in a small box will not do them justice. Putting one in a required sized ported box will completely blow away your 3 sealed trust me on this one.

What sounds loud to different people is very subjective. You say it rumbles good and someone else might think it's very low. This is why we all have our own preference on how much output our systems should have.
When it come to annoying others outside of your car, That's why they invented sound deadening and closed windows. I'm pushing about 1100 watts rms into two 12's and, with my windows rolled up, there is very little change over a stock system. My highs are much more noticable outside the car. I did this for security reasons and to prevent annoying people and the cops. My system was stolen b4 and I've received excessive noise tickets in the past.

yah i was looking at that set up on ebay there, but box doesnt look big enough, not enough air space. Because yah i dont want to give up my whole trunk. and i like sound compitions, i use to do pretty good with my rsx-s's system.. but want this one to be louder. I like so much bass it actually shakes your hair haha. Its just how i like it.. my car.. therefor thats what i want haha =) i could allways get that fiberglass one.. and i think the back of it is wood.. so i could allways cut it and have it made bigger :S i think im going to go get some cardboard and make a box and see how it turns out and if theres enough space.

nah its not wood, I have one and its fiberglass.

thats about it as far as 3 10's go for the Z, it will be hard to make a custom enclosure using another spot in the Z to fit 3 10's

k i was looking around some more.. if i rip out the back paneling in the corner.. i could have a custom box made in one or both of the corners.. than have 2 or 1 subs under the rear strut bar. its just an idea.. the place that does my audio work are amazing.. im sure they can figure something out for me.

One 10" can outperform mostly any 12" if you make a box for the specs of the sub... Just sayin

or something like this one.. creates more cubic ft than the dual box under the strut bar.. and than just have another box made for one of the subs under the strut bar.. hmmmm i think that might just work =)

okay so i went and talked to my audio people this morning.. what i think we're going to do is ---->
i want to have 2 subs under the strut bar, and have just one put into the bottom. There is perfect amount of air space in both of the boxes to make it work perfectly. and im also dynomating everything from the seats back.. eventually will do the doors and floor beneith the seats too =) just a matter of time.
tell me what you think

and

that looks good, but your goin to sacrifice your floor... you might as well use the rest of the trunk/hatch space...
