Default 2004Z.. want to buy the 2003 cluster

Hello

I have a 350Z 2004,
I want to mount a fahrenheit 7000mhr in my Z,
so I found out all the information I needed on this forum to do this.

Only one thing is not clear..
I'm going to buy this 2 items on this link:
http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4445

1/ NISSAN 350Z 2004-2005 Cluster Assembly $130.00
2/ NISSAN 350Z 2004-2005 Cluster Finisher (small piece) $12.90

Are these 2 items everything I need to put a fahrenheit screen in a 2004 model?
Is this the whole cubby????

What about the colour difference? Can I buy the right colour somewhere?

yes thats what you need. the 03z have a lighter grey color. you can do a cf overlay or something like that. i did this mod too and i usually drive with the cover open since I have a camera I use for backing up during the day so I dont notice it.

This is a direct bolt in, it is just a few screws once you pull the dash apart.

You will need to find a way to attach the screen itself though. I used a few big zip ties across the back but that will depend on your screen.

Booey, there is a way to use the 04 cover, I did but it was a big pain in the ... and a one way trip for the 04 cubby.
Basically I took the covers off the respective frames using a dremel.
Then cut the 03 frame up so it did not interfere with the 04 door side latch.
Melted the 04 door to the 03 frame using the same stock melt rivet points and the extra scrap for new plastic material.
Made a small metal clip to hold the retracting spring out of some scrap I had laying around.
It has been working and looking just like stock now for 3+ years.

The easy but expensive way would be to go to a automotive paint shop, have them pull the color with a color gun and have them pump that into a spray can. The downside is they will most likely make you buy a whole pint of paint.
