I looked on the site and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. My Z came with a 10" sub sitting in the strut support bar and I can't use my trunk. I was thinking about getting rid of it and get 2 8" subs, one behind each seat. If I can find a way to do that or if I can get them in my trunk and save myself some room, my current set up will be up for sale, box and sub, I'm keeping the amp. I have a pic of it in my garage.

I was playing around on Yahoo and found this. http://www.clubredline.net/tlg/shop....category_id=14 . What do you guys think? Is this total crap or something I should really look into. If you haven't already noticed, I don't know a whole lot about car audio.

 

Don't take this the wrong way but if you use the search bar @ the top off the forum you will find a ton of different audio setups for our cars....ranging from simple to custom/complex. I am sure I do not know too much more then you but searching here has been invaluable to me and helped me piece together my system.

I personally recently purchased a zenclosure speaker box for a 10" that sits directly under the strut tower brace but I still have the rest of my trunk. I plan on putting the amp in a unused compartment behind my drivers seat. In regards to your link and anything else you may consider modding keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Just my .02

 

I did search the site but I couldn't find much. Maybe I wasn't typing in the correct words to get a good search. I wanna be able to take my golf clubs to the course and the way I'm set up right now, I can't.

 

please dont get the boss. Search wickedcas, they have enclosures for woofers ot fit behind driver and passenger

 

They do have one that goes in the back corner of the trunk but they want $329 for it. That's pretty steep. But thanks for the heads up, they do have some nice stuff.

What 8" subs are you looking at, and one behind each seat? So you gain the trunk but loose your glove box?

If you have the money and you want small awesome bass, I'd personally pick up a 8w7 and get a box made for between the front part (side closest to the front of car) of the strut tower to the rear of the middle plastic thing that has your glove box and speakers thingy. That's kinda dead space anyway.

Or I'd get a new 10" sub that meets the requirements (airspace wise) with the old Bose spot and just use that.

All in all ask around for a reputable car audio shop. Discuss it with them.

 

I'm not wanting an *** ton of bass. I had quite a bit in my old Status R/T and after a while of constantly readjusting my rear view mirror, it got rather annoying. I want some thump, but not a whole lot. I found some to go in the dead space behind the driver seat or the rear, left of the trunk which I'm strongly considering. I'd rather have it behind my driver seat to give it a cleaner look.

Exactly. But I think I'm just gonna do my single Alpine S 10" behind the driver seat and put the amp underneath the seat. Where did you get those boxes?
