So I take it the box is not coming back to us so we can fix it. Last conversation we had with you on the phone was send the box back and we can fix it for you. I take it from this post it never got shipped. I can't help you from where I am, I need the box here. Specialy when you already have it painted. Again I am surprized by this post after we had a conversation about the box being sent to us.

The object of this post was to
1. Find the cheapest way to fix my box since I am unemployed and can not afford to get the box shipped back to you and then repainted.Seems like you would have offered to repaint the box for me for free since you admitted to screwing it up. (and while I was on hold I could hear you and your employees talking about "another JL Audio box not fitting". So you knew about this problem with more than just my box.

2. To make other people aware about the situation about the JL 10W6 not fitting when you company said they would. I have in no way bashed your company just putting my experience.

So if you have any other solution please let me know

The only thing that "seems like" to me is I am not getting the box back to repair it. You are the only one I know ooo that has an issue with th efitment. I am not sure if the primer was sprayed too thick or whatever happened, but I will never know if you don't send me the box. I can't fix something I don't have in my hands. We at Wicked CAS offered you our help... We ofcourse would like to examine to make sure it is us, we at no point admitted to any screw ups, however I am not denying we could have.. or we could not have... I am just saying we need the box here.... AGAIN WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING UNLESS WE HAVE THE BOX HERE... We did commit to fixing it for you weather it is our fault or not...

I have seen many cases where the body shop will spray thick primer and paint where the sub would sit with the results you are explaining.

all the paint and primer has been sanded off, the gelcoat that you applied has been sanded off and it is now down to the actual fiberglass and they still will not fit. i did not say you refused to fix the box.
Nazar if you do not have any advice for me to fix the box here then I dont need to talk to you any more. Thanks guys for all the help and advice.

That is exactly my point, if you had just sent it to us we may have been able to save the box and paint. But you are correct there is no advice anyone can give you without having it in front of them, so I gues I will stop posting. If you decide to ship it back I will be happy to fix it. Otherwise My or anyone elses advice without seeing is pointless, which may lead you to more destructive measures of fixing attampts on this box. This could have been a very easy fix if we had it in our hands.

These enclosures are shipped with universal rings and they fit 10w3v3 subs, we modify them for 10w6 if specified. In this case it was not specified. We offered to fix it and ship it back with free shipping after the repair, We also offered to inspect the box and if the damage was caused by manufacturing defect we would pick up th eshippingto us as well. But we would have to inspect it first and thus he would have to pay the shipping to us to get it repaired. All shipping charges to us would have been decided after it got here and a visual inspection of the problem. As long as the problem wasn't due to the body shop spraying too much bondo or primer and causing the problem, we would be happy to honor any shipping charges... But Once again can't do anything until I see it.

IT WAS SPECIFIED !!! YOU SOLD ME THE MATCHING JL 10W6 TO GO IN THE BOX !!! I realize you can not fix it unless you have it. I called your shop an employee answered the phone told me to ship it back at my expense and that I would have to repaint it at my own cost also. Before he told me all this, he placed me on hold and was asking you about it in the back ground and he said "another problem with a JL 10W6 not fitting", i knew it was you because you have a very distinct accent. So who ever made the batch of boxes either forgot or was not told to do it.

Bottom Line - Will you fix the fitment and have the box repainted if I pay for shipping to you? If not I will just sell it

I will tell you again what you were told previously... (with or without my accent ... ) Before you started sanding everything down...

I NEED IT IN MY HANDS TO INSPECT IT AND SEE WHAT IS THE PROBLEM FIRST. I WILL THEN BE HAPPY TO STAND BEHIND MY WORK. NOT NECESSARILY FIX SOMEONES BODY WORK OR OVER SPRAY OF BONDO. BUT I COMMIT TO FIXING THE BOX. ONCE I INSPECT IT I CAN LET YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO KNOW. AS LONG AS THE BOX IS NOT DESTROYED WITH ATTEMPTS OF FIXING IT.

It also sounds like there are plenty of people who will buy the box form you...

SO IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO MAKE A DECISION... Are you sending the box to us so we can inspect and fix it or are you selling it to the people in line.
