Well, did you have bose or not?
Being that you are putting in coaxial speakers your soundstage will probably be hurt, but there is a chance it could sound better.
I had the bose and put in high end speakers on amps so I can't really tell you from experience in the Z.
You may and you may not. One reason why nobody is replying.

I'm sure someone here has replaced just the speakers before lol
I do have he Bose system. Does it make a difference?
Also if I were to get an amp. I have no idea what kind of amp I'm searching for. What would I be looking for? Ex. Subwoofer is mono amp.
Thanks

You will notice a difference but to fully take advantage of the new speakers you will want to run an amp to them. Most stock system are paired together pretty decently but when you start changing components (amps, HU, speakers) it's always a good idea to upgrade everything as the stock parts are out performed...
Look for a 4-channel amp that has an rms suitable for what the speakers can handle... I said 4-channel amp because you will eventually want to change the rear speakers as well and you will already have the extra channels waiting

Well since you have the BOSE you are going to have to run new wires to your doors because your stock amps wont work with aftermarket speakers.
I would suggest getting a component set with 1" tweeters so you can replace the bose tweeters in your sail panels and keep your soundstage up high so your vocals wont be coming out of the floor.
If you want a new amp you would want a 2 or 4 channel depending on what you plan on running. If you don't want to run the rear fill a 2 channel is all you need.

Well you could use the stock wires, but you would either have to find the correct wires at the amp all the way in the back of the hatch and cut them from the harness, or you can run new wires straight from your amp. The stock wires are very small and cant carry much current if you plan on running any decent amount of power.
