OK, my '03 touring with factory NAV is almost exclusively a track car these days and the hauler - a 2008 Titan is my daily driver. I know that this sounds like an extreme undertaking, but has anyone successfully transplanted a Z factory nav into a Titan?

I'm getting ready to upgrade the cage in the Z which is going to require an almost complete interior pull, so I figure now's the time to get in and pull this thing, including all the wiring (sat antennae, etc.)

I think I can order the NAV housing that sits on the top of the Titan dash and I'd hope it's close enough to the same size that I can make the screen and control panel fit. Maybe wishful thinking.

 

From what I have read, it is the biggest PITA to even transfer it from one Z to another. The wiring goes all over the car.

 

yeah i think its like that for many cars with nav. maybe that's why civic with factory nav don't get jacked?

 

sell the stock navi and go after market the stock navi isnt that great anyway
