Default Need help with subs for JL stealthbox

hey guys, please dont bash one me about using the search option. I did some search but could not find info on it.

I bought JL stealthbox for really good price... but it came without the subs/
i dont want to get the JL 10W3's that come in there...

i just need suggestion of what else would fit in there and work fine...
i m thinking about trying out the Rockford or pioneer shallow mount subs.
Have any used shallow mount subs? how do u like it?

or some1 who has stealthbox wondering what amp and sub combination are you guys using?

Thanx in advance guys.

you have to find subs that require the same amount of cubic ft.. All you have is a box so dont ask what ppl use for it (stealthbox) because its the subs you put in there that will determine what you need. curious what you thought was a good price for just that particular box?

well you cant go bigger than a 10" that for sure lol. find out the specs of the jl subs and then go and look for the same spec for the other subs that you may want.

What you have to match in specs
1. Mounting depth
2. Sub diameter
3. Cubic ft volume

and of course, power matching to your amp. Go for it!

250 shipped was good price for it IMO, i have Zenclosure understruct with 2 10" rite now.. it was extremely good but jus didnt like the fact that it slide out upon acceleration at times. and wanted something stable to went with this..and not ime 2 get rid of the Zenclosure.

i tried to find specs on thier website but couldnt find it.
