if your willing to pay for it, I know the Xenarc VGA screens will fit. The Lilliput install will hopefully be confirmed soon. =)

Does anyone know if there is one with a metallic finish which would match the Z interior?

i was just about to say i hate how the door just flips up and sits there. i'd rather have it be manual and hide than automatic and stick out!

The one thing good about the '04 is, visibility is excellent since it has the long door. That means during the day in bright sun, the screen will look crisp as hell.

I'm looking for a Screen for my 04 non-nav that will take an in-dash dvd player as input and with a flip of a switch, a rear-view camera.

Any ideas?

I have a 2004 and have done this.... The problem in the 2004 is that the nav pocket is connected to the door (it's one unit) ... You can't separate the pocket from the door like in 2003... This limits your choices in screens unless you want to cut and hack it up... What I ended up doing was buying a 2003 nav pocket as someone else suggested in this forum...

Here are my pics.. again it was in a 2004 with a 2003 nav pocket (it took me about 5 hours to install everything.. Screen=farenheit 7001

There are some shortcomings however with putting a 2003 nav pocket in a 2004:

1. color of door is slightly different
2. door latch will not "catch" so door will not stay closed
3. you may want to get the front lip piece too (where the door latches on because the 2004 lip will not screw on to the 2003 nav pocket..You'll know what I mean if you decide to go this route.

thanks for replying. how much did it cost you for the 2003 nav pocket? how much did you pay for the screen? from what i've read, the 7001 fits perfectly.
let me know if you figure out a way to keep it closed. thanks

My dealer charged me $92.xx + tax for the 2003 Nav pocket. Part number was : 68250-CD010 . I'm not sure what the "2003 front lip catch" part number is.. You might need this to keep it closed. I'll check with the dealer next week when I go in for service..

I have the 7001 and it does fit perfect with the 2003 nav lid pocket.. almost like it was made for it! I followed the excellent instructions here:

http://www.350zfrenzy.com/forum/show...&threadid=2509

I paid $293 or something like that for the screen. I think others have paid in the $270 range. I also bought the JVC KS-IF200 FM modulator to hook the audio up to my stock radio.. It is an auto sensing FM modulator (no on/off switch needed)
