cameras are just a convenient option in japan, i think japanparts.com can get it.

They are Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) side view cameras so you can safely enter certain intersections. Here's some more info...

I saw this on the JDM website, I imagine this and the back up camera would integrate into the NAV. Can we get this and is it easy to install?

its sold as an option, but its has to be ordered with an aftermarket Nav HU. its not setup to work directly with the oem nav unit, although i'm assuming it could be made to work with some hard effort

stupid gadget...its asking for ppl to tamper with it....if you need anything you need backup sensors or camera..not a front camera

yeah.. wouldn't be that useful in the US.. here in Japan somewhat useful.. tons of small streets off the main roads with blind intersections... hilarious too see people drive some of the older corvettes over here, talk about enter with caution, in some streets by the time they see the opposing road the front of the car has already crossed

a FRONT CAMERA WOULD BE GOOD IF IT HAD A ZOOM LENS ON IT THIS WAY YOU CAN SEE WHATS WAY AHEAD OF YOU, lIKE DEER OR COPS :-)

I think that a better idea would be to have the front cameras pointing down in such a way that you can see how far you can pull into a parking spot and not hit the curb with your front bumper. Now THAT would be helpful!
