Well the reason I would not hook them up is to bridge the amp...my speakers can handle 85w rms and the amp can provide 150w rms bridged. Is that too much overpower? I thought that would prevent distortion, and as long as I'm not cranking my amp's gain and the H/U's volume the speakers should be ok. I'm planning on getting a dedicated amp for my sub as 150w will not be enough for what I'm looking for.
