Double Din help
So well I took my double din to get installed today by an audio shop. They were really professional and seemed to get everything working but now there are two problems with my double din.
First, there is a static sound in my rear speaker. I don't know if its the double din to blame but I did not have that sound with my stock radio. I wouldn't mind disconnecting the speaker, but I don't know how...
The main problem is when I turn on my headlights, my double din cuts off and says "no signal" but returns to normal as soon as I turn my headlights off. Now here is where I don't know whether to blame the installers or the made in China crap double din I bought here My installer did an e-brake bypass for me and I thought he may have mixed up the wires, but the e-brake bypass seems to work fine. I already got educated by him and do somewhat regret my made in China purchase, but what's done is done. I'm just trying to get my double din to work like how it's supposed to so any help will be greatly appreciated.

It appears you have a wiring problem. Certainly the H/U should not lose its signal when the headlights are on. Your installer can correct this.
Do you hear static in both rear speakers? Static coming from some but not all speakers could be a loose speaker wire connection or a speaker wire in contact with metal.

My installer just cut the dimmer wire and it seemed to do the trick.
As for the speakers, it's just my rear ones, I'm 90% sure its my driver side. Could it be a blown speaker?
Thanks for the input Spike.

It could be the speaker's cone (the OEM's speaker has a paper cone). Most likely the speaker wire to the right rear is loose (probably at the H/U since this is what was recently replaced).

Out of curiosity, how are the features on the unit? Does the GPS work and DVD player work?
Also, how does the bluetooth phone system work out for you?
