Testing out a sub/amp
I want to test the amp and sub that I bought to see if they are functional.
But I don't have a sub box right now. Can I just hook them up with min volume. I like to see if they produce any sound?
Okay to do that experts
?
Btw, its a jl 10w3v3 for a sub and 250/1 for amp.

You can do it but carefully as the box's trapped air volume acts as a spring to limit the excursion of the woofer. Put it cone down on a flat surface and the air trapped there might help a (tiny) bit. Do not run volume up much at all.
