stock front door speaker grill
I tried to search but couldn't find enough info for me to start working on it.
I read this thread : https://my350z.com/forum/audio-video...-grills-6.html and this could be a very good upgrade for the sound. All i have to do is just cutting out the grill and wrap it with the speaker grill cloth.
So my questions are for the grill cloth, do i need to buy this? http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=260-335 It seems like the sound wont go through the cloth so much. The shipping costs me around $11 so i'm thinking of buying locally. Where do they sell speaker grill cloth like the one from the Link? How much do i need?

Go to a local fabric store and find something similar. Figure each speaker is 6.5 in. and the grill is about 7.5 inches so you just need enough to wrap around its cheap fabric so. The Z door sucks for robbing sound performance from the mids but then again that location sucks in every car

What is the speaker grill cloth made of? cotton? polyester?

Some better speaker/audio stores will have speaker mesh. I've used the same stuff that comes on amp cabs for guitars. On a different note, what would be the best material to put inside/behind a door pod to improve mids. I have liquid deadener, jute, and neoprene on the door panels behind it, but I'm wondering if there's anything better for over top of it?
