Would 4 gauge power wire be fine?

JL recommneds 2 or 0 gauge with 2 amps.

He doesnt need two runs of 4 gauge for two low powered amps and def not 0 awg. 1 run of 4 into a distro then 8 gauge to the amps is plenty. The 4 awg is more than enough so if you want to upgrade your amps down the road you wont have to rewire .

4 Gauge is fine. Nearly any name brand amp manufacter will tell you to run something crazy but unless you are entering a bass competition its not gonna matter. I have probably ran about 4 times that amount of power in my old car on 4 gauge and it was good enough to last 9 years +.
