Ha anyone experienced FM signal loss after installing the USA SPEC PA15 ipod adapter?

I barely get any signal at all now, although the ipod adaptor is working just fine. I doubled checked the the FM signal amp wire is connected. I don't know if there is something else that could have come disconnected during installation, or if the PA15 is somehow causing the stereo to do that.

You need to run 12 VDC to the tiny pre-amplifier that sits in the trunk just under the antenna.

 

Thanks Paul. Is this a known issue with the USA-SPEC? Does it cut power going to that pre-amp? I hadn't seen this in any of the posts on installation.
