Ive got a 10'' Boston acoustics sub powered by a 1000w kenwood amp and it is more than enough for me. I listen to a lot of hip hop with alot of bass and I think in this car 10'' is plenty.

I've got a w6v2 12" in a large ported box.

It will drown out my components. Which are cdt CF @120rms.

It's way overkill, my 12 is run at about 1/16 of it's potential. 10" is plenty.

Ok thanks I'll stick to just 1 10" then. Where do you guys have your amps mounted? I was thinking about buying an amp rack to go behind the seats and strut tower

I've got my sub amp (JL 250.1) in the glove box, and the main amp (JL 320.4) under the glovebox:

I prefer having any non-OEM gear as hidden as possible. Sub is in a box where the OEM Blose sub would have been:

over hyped... mmm yes but its mostly NEWBS that do it

dont get me wrong i love JL, shhi my whole system is all of jl's top of the line, one thing everyone has to remember is jl doesnt change too much... for example the w7 line has been out HOW LONG and its still considered and ALWAYS compared with all the top subs.... if its not broken then don't change it..... but i will disagree with anyone that says JL is garbage, theres just as many JL HATERS as there is FANBOYS

you pay for what you get... and JL AUDIO = QUALITY

you know exactly the ppl im talking about,

Fanboy is someone who is completely ignorant to the facts, has a mindset that one product is the best and nothing can compare, when tests and results prove otherwise.....

once again... JL is quality stuff, ONE (key word ONE) of the best audio company's out there
