Well, I'm finally ready to upgrade my stock alarm with an aftermarket.

I've been trying to do research on alarms and noticed that virtually everyone on this forum uses CompuSTAR. I looked at their endless list of features and it definatly looked very nice.

I contacted a few of the local car alarm/security installers as to how much it would cost for them to install an alarm that I was to buy (I plan on buying off the internet) and they nobody around here has heard of CompuSTAR !?

Can anyone lead me in the right direction as to what alarms have the motion sensor? The motion sensor with the 2 way pager to where it tells me if someone is standing by my car for an extended period is really what I want the most in the alarm due to my area.

I hope I can be led in the right direction!

check out ebay. I just brought what you just mentioned. I got a 2-way pager alarm (comes with remote start, but I have manual so no need) I plan to use the remote start for something else
It doesn't have motion sensor, just shock sensor. Another person is sell a add on module that has internal & external motion sensor. I'm gonna get them in the mail next week and 'try' to install it myself (the seller recommend pro install, but I think I can handle it)
Just do a search on ebay for '2-way LCD', there are a bunch of them (I got mines for $96, theres a $74 model without remote start) the motion sensor i think is 'Radar sensor alarm' There are plenty of modules left and lots of days left too.
The one I got looks similar to compustar's one, and the guy said the range is 2500 ft.
