I have bought (4)Infinity Kappas 62.5i speakers and a Sony CDX-M850MP HU, and was wondering if I would require an external amp for the speakers or if the HU is enough to power them? I realize that the 350z is tight on space and question whether the extra watts would make a big difference.

 

I have 4 Polk DB speakers and an Alpine 9813 HU, and although it sounded very good, after I placed a 4 channel Audiobahn amp it sounds awesome! Only thing I don't have is very loud bass as no sub yet, but I don't prefer too much bass. Infinitys are great speakers, so they would most likely benefit from the added power.
