I have been seeing a very weird thing happening lately and am trying to have a stereo shop look into it...and thought that I would ask the real experts here...

During drives over about 1 hour I get a light that turns on located on my dash. I don't have my manual here, but it is one of the (I think) three lights that the manual states are electrical lights. It looks like a round object with (I think) three arrows on each side pointing towards the round object in the middle. The manual states that it is an electrical light that comes on and it should turn itself off once the car starts. It also states if it comes on, to get the electrical system checked. I have only seen this light come on a couple of times (don't drive the car much) and it was when driving more than 1 hour at a time. If you stop and turn the car off, the light turns off, but about 1 hour later (approx.) the light turns back on.

Here is the weird things. Once the light turns on, the stereo (aftermarket Kenwood) will play and about every 2-3 minutes, the sound will stop. It does this wiht Sirius, CD, Radio. The sound will stay off for about 30 seconds and then come back on for about 2-3 minutes...cycled.

The guy that is looking into it thinkings that it is my tire pressure trying to get the pressure and since I have aftermarket rims (performance model) it can't get them, so somothing is going wrong. He thinks that the radio might be wired into the same circuitry as that tire pressure gauge hence causing some problem.

Has anyone seen anything like this? Any ideas?
