Default Help With Double Din Kit

I just Installed a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT radio on my 04 Z
the people who installed it ordered the double din kit but
when radio was placed in it there was to much gap on top and bottom;
They returned the piece and custom cut some plastic for the mean time
until i can find a better fitting Kit;
Any one have any suggestions?

Might try a different brand for the dash kit. I have the same pioneer and mine didn't fit 100% either, I got it evened out for the most part though, cant tell unless you really look at it.

unclear.. are you installing a double din, or are you referring to a double din sized kit for a normal deck?

Metra kits should be spot on.. other brands, ah so so.

If you are instaling a double din... there will be NO gap.. use your factory brackets.

I did have to redrill my holes on the metal brackets back .25 in to make it flush and to not stick OUT, but theres no gap.
