Yes I can confirm you'll need a dash kit. (Besides, all Dual Din(DD) units are the same size, so there is no reason one particular brand wouldn't require a trim kit-- it would be impossible with every make/model of vehicle these are installed in!)
You'll need:
Nissan 350Z Kit 2003-up, chassis size E

Nissan/Infiniti Receiver Wire Harness For select Nissan and Infiniti models, 1994-up

Enjoy, it's a nice head unit!

I just installed a Pioneer in my 04 Touring, lower level unit, no NAV, but, installation should be similar. Crutchfield lists the below adapter for wiring an aftermarket HU to your factory Bose system.
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1207075...s.html?tp=2977
You should be able to find that adapter online just about anywhere that sells car audio stuff.
Over all, it was a pretty simple install, match marked wires from the pioneer harness to the listed adapter wires, solder, heat shrink, and go.

I own this deck and its quite awesome. The video bypass is a littel tricky to do perfectly but here goes:
Get some thin, 20 guage wire. Strip about 1.25" of the shield off of one end. Tin (solder-prep) the exposed wire to make it stronger. Insert the wire into the empty slot beside the light yellow/black wire which is located in the white molex with the RCA's coming out of it. Ground the new wire, along with the green wire in the other power harness.
Make sure you zap strap this new wire that you have inserted into the empty slot and make sure its good and tight. You CAN remove the yellow/black wire from the one slot to the other but it is very difficult to remove the pin without specialty tools and some skill. Not worth it!
Hope this helps.
