Default Good Bye Spare Tire

So got a custom audio system installed and in the process had to bid farewell to the good old spare tire. And to be quite honest, I didn't mind at all.

Some pics for you guys

With the carpet over.

Remove the carpet and voila!

And Inside....

Although I am debating about getting a double din where the flip out is as well. The only drawback will be that I'll loose the space under it. What do you guys think? I have Double din in my Mustang, all I have to do is get the flip out put in that and double din in mine.

Yup there are custom made boards that cover the subs and the amp. Then the carpet goes over the whole thing.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I've never really noticed to be honest, but I think it's fine. Just the angle of the pic or something perhaps.

Yeap I deff agree. Two double din's would just fit a lot nicer. Like I mentioned I am thinking of removing the double din from the Mustang and putting it in this one and the flip out in the Mustang or reverting the Mustang to it's stock set up, which was sick to begin with the Shaker 500 system. Wish I knew how to do all this stuff myself, i would have done it a long time ago. I am thinking any audio shop is going to charge me at least $300-$400 just for removing the DVD from one car and putting it in the other or switching the decks.
