Archos 7 Tablet!
First Off- Short time lurker first time poster 
Anyway, I recently bought an 04 Touring and the Bose HU has got to go.
AM/FM doesn't work, found out AFTER I bought (and used) the tape MP3 adapter that the tape will not eject and last but not least it will not switch to the tape. Basically I have a wire coming from my tape deck that is permanent until HU is removed and all that works is the CD changer.
Ideally, I was going to get the Alpine w900BT http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Alpine+-...pine&cp=1&lp=8 but for $999 I feel I can get creative and do something better! I was looking into taking out the HU and replacing it with an Archos 7 http://www.archos.com/products/imt/a...try=us&lang=en . Has anyone seen this done before? I can get an external hard drive and store all the MP3's and videos I could need, as well as purchase a decent NAV app to take care of that need. Thoughts and opinions?
