I was going to pick up some Infinity Reference 6002 6-1/2" speakers for the Z and didnt know if I needed the shallow mount or not.


The shallow is 1-7/8" deep and the normal is 2-1/8"

If you know, please shoot a post up asap because I wanted to buy them today

I don't think you need shallow mounts. I don't remember how deep my JLs are but it seems to me they're deeper than 2 1/8". You will need a spacer (whether built from factory speakers or bought or made out of mdf) regardless.
