Im Getting a JL Audio 10w3 for the box.

Im looking for a 6 or five channel amp. I'd like to have a JL audio amp. Its been so long since Ive messed with stereo stuff I dont even know whats any good anymore.

I got burned on some MB quarts years ago, so I know just because it cost alot dont mean nothing.

So what opinion I am also looking for is whats is good out there for 6.5 speakers and a amp.

I mean if you have a roadster what have you found that sounds good with the top down, I just dont want to waste money i dont need to.

What's your budget?

What kind of sound are you going for? Sound quality? Loudness?

Do you care about staging?

 

I want it to sound good! I want to be able to crank it up with the top down and it still sound good.

As for the budget, Im willing to pay what I have to or wait til I have enough to get it.

I want Clean Clear sound, with a little boom when the right song is playing.

Staging? Not sure about that yet. I may want it lol....

Right now I am planing on the next week or so getting either one or two amps. I have seen JL audio amp500/1 (USED) then maybe another amp. like a JL XD series(NEW)......

The next step will be door speakers and the ones behind the seats. Then getting that JL Clean Sweep.

Then I should be ready for the install.....Still gathering info and looking before the purchase....

JL Audio Clean Sweep
JL Audio 10V3 Sub

Now, heres the point I am now. I cant figure out which up front speakers I want. I have looked at the JL Audio Evolution C3-650 & C5-650. Thing is the local shop has the C3 for 399.99 and I can get the C5's for $289.00 shipped! Im wondering if the C5's are better or worth the risk of buying off ebay or if they are THAT much better than the C3's?
