Default Problems with my bose system

Hey guys i just bought a 2003 touring edition with factory bose system. The music plays but i bass behind the seat does not work. it works sometimes when i put it to a low volume but most of the time its off. I am about to get a aftermarket stereo. is that going to fix the problem? help is appreciated, thank you

Yep amp has a short. There is a diy easy fix for this look for it. No the aftermarket stereo will not fix this issue. Look in the diy section and fix it its pretty simple fix.
