Default Anybody Have This?? (MP3 Player Related)

Hey all:

I was wondering if any of you guys have had this product:

http://www.ssiamerica.com/products/neo35/index.shtml

I currently have this installed in my car (Bought the 40-Gig one, holds approx. 800 CD's)

Im at a point where I dont know what to do... I origionally bought the unit about 10 months ago, and it lasted about 3, then some kind of disk error. The system broke down, and I could not fix it (Im not a software guy, and I believe thats what the problem was).

So I decided that though it sucks that the unit broke, it really was worth its weight in gold. I sent it back to the company. I was without it for over a month.

I recieve it back, either a new one or mine refurbished (im not sure), fixed for free.

The new one worked for about 6 months after, then last night, it decides to once again shitt the bed.

Now is the difficult part. What would you guys do? I feel like just taking my $350 unit and turning it into store credit. What would you guys do?

-Send it out again?
-Get store credit?
-And if so, what would you guys buy for $350-500 bux?

I got myself an iPod for that amount of cash. That way I can take it to the office during the day and listen to what I want. I'm still waiting on my iTrip (FM Transmitter) to be shipped to me. I'm currently using a tape adapter until then.

I believe there was a problem with those. I considered buying one, but I'd heard that they had a tendency to crash if the system was powered down while the hard drive was in the middle of switching songs.

Yeah, so any ideas what I should get if I decide to ditch the car-mp3 thing? Figure on $350.00 of store credit, plus another $2-300 if its somethin really cool.

Check out http://www.phatnoise.com. They have a pretty cool mp3 HD. My brother has the Kenwood version, and a friend of mine has the normal phatnoise. Both of them love it.

Do0d - $799 for a 20-Gig?? Are they completely insaine?? I have a 40-Gig and paid $350 for it. They are selling half the product for twice the price... I mean, i know mine has its faults, but for 800 bux, Im building a car PC with its own HD's, and probably have money left over for a tank of gas.

I understand it's expensive, but your $350 unit crapped out, twice. Anyway, it was just a suggestion. I guess Alpine also has an mp3 unit too. You could always go with the iPod.
