Default Best subwoofer placement?

Where is the best place to put a subwoofer in the Z? I was wanting to put 2 12's in between the seats and the strutbrace to still have a decent storage area but put a temporary box there and it sounded horrible there but sounded great in the back. Plus I blew one today so I am just going to go with a single 12 now.

Zenclosures makes one that fits where you want it to, in between the seats and strut bar so look at that when thinking about fabbing up yours

kinda loaded question
90% of the members here that use a sub, went and go with zenclosure

so sub placement is really not taken into consideration as the only thought is use a zen

i would say that using a zen understut and having the drivers face back will sound better than what you want to do and have them in front of the strut

but best placement for the a sub in a z is to dedicate the hatch area and have the driver either facing back and roughly 4" - 6" from the rear , or my favorite choice facing up and port up , also sub up port back works well , also sub up and port to driver side
