Default Non-Bose oem deck CD ERROR F2

2004, with approx 46k miles
Non-Bose stereo oem deck

As of last week the the deck started to skip randomly and then throw a CD ERRO F2 code. I am using burned CD's, these have worked previously so I dont know why its doing it now. I tried using a cd player cleaner, still no bueno. Radio works fine though. Happens randomly , I also dont live in a cold area either. Sometime itll play for like a minute then skip, or itll play for about 45 mins then throw the cd error code.

Any ideas what the issue is?

Should I just take it to the dealer?
