Default Questions on Locating Subs in a Roadster

I am getting ready to install Subs in my roadster.Would prefer to do 2 - 10" subs, but willing to do a single if needed due to space. Dont want to use the cubby behind the driver so that leaves the trunk area. Zenclosures makes a box for the roadster but its kind of bulky any one make a sleeker one? any other suggestions?

Thanks

no clue why you wouldnt want to use the best space for a sub in that car ( drivers side OR passengerside cubby) and instead want to just stick it in the trunk wheres theres very little common airspace exchange.
SRQ makes a mdf and fiberglass version that will fit up to a JL 13tw5.. sub can be had for 350 new and box is 120 bucks. Fully stealth. Totaly unstealable.

Thanks for your reply!!
will the sound be better with the sub in the cubby as opposed to a sub in the trunk? or at least equally good?i am not opposed to using the cubby hole as long as i can get a decent sub in there and get decent sound out of it.

Yea. It's only three inches deep. I have the srq box in my garage cut by them for this very sub. Its a common request for them.

The amp I have is OVERKILL. You'd be happy and safe w a properly wired Alpine pdx 600.1 and if you dont need a TON of bass..even their pdx 5 channel would do great to get u started and would give u reasonable OEM sounding power ( think luxury car OEM) and u could always add a mono sub amp later. They're exactly the size of a ream of copier paper..I run a 1000.1 and a 150.4

I have 2 10" subs in my Roadster mounted right behind the driver's and passenger sides seats. They are below the cubby and the navigation unit. Also, still have 6.5" speakers above them in the stock location. I can post some pics when I get to my car tomm. I use a 1000x1 amp to power them. Need to do some tweaking to the levels.

All my equipment is made by Crossfire.

We are the original creators of the Glove box subwoofer enclosure. Mounting depth in our box is 5.9" which will accomodate a 10w3v3 JL AUDIO Subwoofer and many other subwoofer for a 10" size.

We do also offer this enclosure in a 13tw5 fitment.

Please don't be mislead by copies or wooden boxes.

Wicked CAS 350Z Glove Box Magic box is 100% Fiberglass and lightweight. And offers the mostamount of mounting depth for a Glove box enclosure. We do our research.

A 10w3v3 will handle 500 Watts of power. If you wanted to do 2 enclosure you can with 2x10" subs.

I will be happy to sell you the enclosures with subwoofers at a discounted rate. simply call me and i will make you happy.
