Default few questions about a custom subwoofer box

I'm looking to keep this stealth and came across this box on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Nissan-350z-Coup...item3a5ccba9ef

it would sit right behind the driver seat where the stock subwoofer sits

I would be using a 10 inch JL W3 and im concerned about a few issues, one being the weight of the sub pulling the box down and in over time and my other concern being the vibrations and the vibrations making too much noise...

anyone have experience with this box?

would that be firing down into dead space?
would think it would have a horrible muffled sound, like listening to music from the apartment next door kinda sound

zero problems.
Muffled?
No.
Not at all.

The 10 you chose wont be super loud, but still, it will fine.
I got rid of my large box to use this one..

bmccann,
you have this box?
any excessive vibrations?

still a fan of the color of your interior.
still on the fence to go the same color with my white Z.

EDIT: guess no vibrations since you said zero problems

yeah a JL 10 w3 is a decent sub, but wont literally pound you to death.. there may be vibrations inside, but from what im told, the amount of clips on all those panel fasteners hold it down pretty well. The kind of vibrations youre gonna end up with a re very simple to fix, they will be very small. Get roll of thick foam door gasket tape from Ace or Home Depot and place a bit under the panels that you find rattle and press them back in place.. its not gonna be rattles like a cadillac trunk or anything.

The place w the real rattles is actually the hatch plastic.. so im glad im moving mine out of the hatch and using this new box.

Thanks for the interior compliment.
Its Porsche color, terracotta.
No one else has it yet i dont think.

Ebay & Custom do not work in the same sentence together

what you posted is a mass produced , cheap , commercial , pre-fabricated enclosure

and i would not buy or install that , sorry

if i where you i would simply buy a zenclosure understrut box, for a single 10" or single 12" sub

this way you lose virtually no hatch space and it would be somewhat stealth

and sound more musical and have less rattles
