yeah I had them in my old ride...... Really tight bass, very good bass extension, perfect control. May not hit the db that solobaric's or w7 might but for all the sq freaks out there they sound pretty nice. Pair that up with some 7" focal mid-bass 4" focal mids and some nice tweets (personally I don't like to focal highs as much) and you have "music to your ears"
Focal makes a lot of great products in the home audio sector as well. The JM Labs Grand Utopia Be speakers retail for $70,000+ and are rated as possibly the best speakers on the planet. Another great company is Dynaudio. I have not heard the car sub that focal makes but would have guessed that the sound quality would be a little dry but pretty fast and accurate. Its too bad a company called REL doesn't make car audio subs. They are in my opinion the best out there in home audio for the money. Their Studio III retails for $9,000 and goes down to 9Hz. That sub has been known to pull nails and ruin drywall. www.rel.net
