sub recommendations for audio set up
Hello everybody, I just wanted to post some of my recommendations for a clean audio set up. When I originally got my car it came with a high output alternator to compensate for the giant amplifiers installed to power two 12" TC audio sub woofers. I liked the set up but then I changed the amp to a smaller hifonics bx2610d. Then I had that set up for a while but then after a year or so I decided to take out the two 12" subs as well. The reason why I took out the two 12" subs was simply because they were too much bass, and I simply got tired of the set up.
I now have a single 10 JL w7 and I'm happy with it. It doesn't shake my car as much as when I had the two 12" (each could handle about 1200 watts rms) but it sounds clean. I'm a big audio fanatic and I'm really impressed with the w7. Considering the fact that it is almost a 1/4 power (500 watts rms) of what I had in the car. Now I'm not the type to be pro JL and that's final. There are tons of audio brands that are better then JL. I just wanted to sum up that a single w7 in the 350z will sound really clean. I went from two 12" subs to a single 10" sub and I'm quiet happy with the results.
Hers a couple of pics:
