How do I remove the center dash when I have the factory navigation system. I can't find anything in the forums about it. No one seems to have the factory nav!
I don't have it but doesn't the dash come out the same way?
In case you haven't seen/tried this (maybe you already have) take a look at Scafremon's how to on dash removal:

I would guess you'd just have to unplug whatever plugs into the back of the Nav unit to remove the dash this way.

I went to take the dash out, using the instructions on the forum, but all the dash removal forums are removal without the factory navigation. I can get as far as removing the panel around the shifter and popping the top of the dash out. I stopped when it grabbed around the NAV unit. I remembered seeing the two screws in those without NAV, but I couldn't get to them or see them. I would have been done by now!!!!!
Thanks,

Just make sure you have removed all of the screws shown in scaf's instructions.
My guess is that you left in the two screws just below the nav keypad.
They are pictured in scaf's photos: Photo #9, "Remove the 2 screws that are now exposed."

That is exactly what happened. The problem is that when you have the factory nav, those two screws are hidden by the nav control panel. I was informed by onecoolee how to remove this panel first. After that, everything else is easy. Just a few adjustments to the wiring harness and installation of onecoolee's nav/aftermarket harness and I was done. I will post a thread detailing this installation later. I will show pictures of this installation with the nav unit and onecoolee's harness thing. Anyway, thanks for everyone's help. Now, I will install my Infinity components and rears. I think that I will have a custom box for two 10" behind the seats/ forward of of strut bar in that dead area.
Thanks Again,
