Default No sound coming out of stock rear speakers

Saturday I noticed there is no sound coming from my rear speakers. I put the fader to the rear and put the volume up to 30 and still nothing was coming out. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?

Just finished tearing mine apart and replacing everything and adding subs...does yours have the bose system? If it does (mine didn't) then maybe those speakers ran off of a factory amp, maybe somebody can chime in on that...but my guess is it could be a number of things...easiest thing would be to just pull those speakers and see if anything looks weird with the connector or wiring...could be the headunit, but hopefully it's just the speakers. Time to upgrade!

remove the rear speakers
set your volt meter to ohms
place the - & + probes to the corresponding speaker terminals
see if you get a reading

Consider yourself lucky that the audio system has self deleted the two lousiest placed speakers in the car.
