I'll be selling the Z in the not so distant future. I have a completely aftermarket audio system. Alpine HU, Focal components in the doors, JLs in the rear, and a BA and JL amp, and a POS sub. This was done in 2003/2004, I want to keep Focal components and the amps, just in case I get the itch again. I still have the non-Bose HU.

Questions:

1. If I replace the door components and amps, will the OEM HU run with the aftermarket parts?

2. Should I keep the HU or just sell the car with the aftermarket HU and include the OEM HU? iirc the installed HU is an Alpine 9315, yeah I know it's old, but it still looks and works great.

Need photos.
If it is a clean install and looks OEM - leave it in.
If the hatch is filled with amplifiers and speakers - take it out.
