New owner needs advice quickly
So long story short, I bought my car a few days ago knowing I would be changing the rims/tires soon (as they are hideous) last night I got ticketed for the lip on the rims/stretched tires and was given notice to change them within 7 days All in all the kid i bought it off of has no idea what the rim specs are all he was able to tell me was that the front tires are 225's/245's on the rear...and note the rears probably have about a 3/4 " lip. I'm lowered on eibach pro series as well at the moment. Just looking for some suggestions on a set up that would sit fairly flush without that stupid stretched tire/lip look...as I don't want to end up buying something just to get by. I know there's a lot of threads about this kind of stuff but the way my schedule is this week I just don't have the time to spend hours researching tire/rim specs

OK, gonna refrain from giving you a LMGTFY comment. (I'll leave that to Trav.... heh heh).
Most popular "flush" set-up is:
18x9.5 +15 F
18x10.5 +15 R
Or right in that dimensional space.
Optionally (and depending on availability), you can "create" effective offset in that area using 8.5/9.5 higher offset wheels, say, +25 and ~10mm spacers. I'd prefer to skip spacers but it does the job.
Run those with the most common upsizes, 245/40F, 275/40R.

Slow night for the Victoria PD, eh? Ticket for a LIP???? C'mon.....all wheels have lips. Must've been that the 225s were stretched on a 10" wheel.... if that's even conceivable...

As for the rims/tires thank you, I think I'll try and stay away from spacers unless that's what it comes down to , now to just find a model I like haha :P

yeah sadly out here cops don't have an ounce of respect for car groups They once tried to pin a good 10-15 people with an "unauthorized car show" at a small meet we had? Didn't know there was such thing, then tried to charge us with solicitation after he realized how idiotic he was sounding. So we all just walked into the coffee shop we met at and bought a drink so we were then customers
anywho getting a little off topic Lol
