well i finally got it installed and working today.. and i must say<< holy faaaak its loud.. i wont have to change much.. its just tuned a little bit too low.. or i have to add a 10" in there..
on the other point.. the kicker l7 subs.. go loud but slow response, laggy,, sloppy kinda shitty sub..
as for the box though .. im very happy with it.. im gonna play around and shorten the ports and loose some airspace..
ill post some pics tmrw...
im running 2 phoenix gold ms2250 team members... first edition... i sanded it down and painted it gloss black to match the interior.
yes that a 15 year old amp

Did you remove the plastic trim from under the hatch door? Or does it close with the trim still on?

the trim is still on.. i actually still have about 4 inches of clearance with the cover on.. thats the closest part where the rear wiper motor is located..

i took my wiper off for a flush look anyways.. and im gonna remove the cover tomorrow to see how it sounds. cause that cover is flapping like hell on the ultra low tones.. its good on non modified songs though.

gonna take a couple quick vids b4 i pull it all out and rea do it..

my next setup will be 2x Orion hcca 15" right behind the seats..
trunk park should be some batteries and amps..

gutting out all the rear compartment
dont care about the dea value of the car..
its a toy to have fun with.. should be better to have more of the weight shifted up front then right at the rear..

not yet..
i have a couple things i i need to run through on some forums..
basically just need to pick what amps im gonna run.. 1 amp or 2 amps..
i have not decided yet ..
then i can order my subs dual 2 or dual 4 ohm depenging on my power source..

second will be positioning and placement.
i could make the subs fire up to the roof and port to the front of the center console..

or all up..

or forward into the seat..

im not sure yett
any suggestions? i think im doing something that hasn't been done yet for this car ..

The fact your using L 7's tells me your going for SPL and not SQ .

not sure if u read much .. but im scraping the L 7's
planning on going with 2x hcca 15" dual 4 ohm wired to 1 ohm
on a
crescendo. The BC5500 does 5600rms@1ohm@13.8
nothing in stone yet.. but wont take long to get completed.

I read just fine , but your first box had L7's and you stated you were going for SPL and not SQ . That is a no brainer , as no one uses L7's for SQ .
