Default Wanting to install a second cd/mp3 player

Excuse me for being a newbie, but I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the following and if so if they can give me any advice regarding it, or to tell me even if it is or is not possible. I want to keep the factory stereo as is, but I would like to have an mp3 player. I want to be able to put it in the drivers side glove box where the disc changer would normally be. Is this possible at all? If it is, are there any posts regarding it, I wasn't able to find anything.

If you keep factory stereo you will need to use an fm modulator to play your mp3s. I think the Kenwood music keg is same size as single din head unit and that will fit in the glove box. If you have never used an FM modulator there is a loss of signal quality. If instead you put in another headunit that plays mp3s I think you would be happier with the sound quality. Just my $.02 worth!!

I might just need to put in a whole new head unit then, too much for that kenwood keg and fm adapter.
