Question Cheaper to get aftermarket nav installed?

I really want this option as part of my new Z but am starting to wonder whether or not it is worth the @2K they are charging as the option, or if I can take that and pay someone to install a custom system. Half my battle would be finding a trustworth shop in the area, but once I do that, $2k seems like it may be worth looking elsewhere?

you can probably get it for cheaper if you go with an aftermarket system. You can save around 1000 if you build the whole system yourself. The install isnt too hard. Plus you can add more features like MP3 DVD navigation etc etc.
