Hi guys, I swear I've searched (seems like this would have been covered for this specific unit) and all I can find is some conversations on replacing the Bose.
I do not have Bose, is this thing just plug and play? Or do I need some kind of harness?
I just came from German cars and felt like I knew a lot, and now I have Japanese, and feel like I've never seen a car before. Any help or direction is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

a nissan/infiniti harness is recommended. You could skip this harness by splicing the oem radio harness. Buy from crutchfield and its included for free.

your question is super basic. I doubt you "searched" op.

It is a basic question, yes. But, like I said the only threads I found about this unit were about replacing the Bose unit, not the generic stock one. I know the Bose is different so I dont know how much those pertain to my question at hand. Not to mention, this forum is so huge, with so much information in it at this point, that sometimes there is search overload... and its hard to filter through all of the random nonsense that has your keyword in it... unless I'm not using the search function right. Quotations dont seem to work to keep specific word groupings (speaking in generalities here, not for this specific question).
