? For Those With USASPEC PA15-NIS For Base Radio
Hi.
I have a 2006 350Z enthusiast package; so I have no Bose radio so no cd changer.
I am just wondering if anyone has the USASPEC Ipod integration kit for their factory head unit because I bought mine and am getting it installed monday but have some questions.
1. Which DIP Switch's should be on? I believe just #3 because I don't have a CD Changer?
2. Does this take away my radio/CD player?
3. How do you switch between radio/ CD Player if it is not taken away?
Thank You.

If you know how to take out your dash, install is plug and play. The instructions tell you exactly where to keep the switch at, I do believe it is at 3 though. To switch between CD/ iPod you just push the CD button on your radio, so if the radio is in CD, press the CD button and it will go to the iPod, and to get to the radio just press the radio button. USASPEC is a great product, very simple.
So i tried to connect it up and the Ipod displayed that it recognized the radio but the radio did not display that it recognized the Ipod!!!! So i am going from radio to Cd player and pressing everything but it would not recognize!
I installed 2 of these a little while back (1 in my Z and 1 in my Pathfinder).
Just take your time and follow the instructions. I took out the one that was in the Z because I installed an aftermarket HU. Also that customer support number is very responsive. Each time I called I had an answer within minutes. I had a Bose so my setup might be different but I used the CD button to toggle between CD player and iPod. Then I used preset button 3 for control from iPod, 5 for control from HU and 6 for Aux In. Again take your time. The manual is very self explanatory

You able to use the adapter??
I have a 08 base (non-bose) radio with only "CD & RADIO" buttons...hoping yours works...which hopefully means mine would too.
